This website is published by Niles Biological, Inc., 9298 Elder Creek Rd, Sacramento, CA 95829, as a catalogue and a source of reference information for teaching laboratories. Using it means accepting these terms.
This site is not an offer
Prices, specifications, grades, pack sizes, availability and lead times published here are catalogue information for planning a requisition. They are not an offer capable of acceptance, and they are not a quotation.
A binding price for your order is the one on a written quotation issued to you, and an order exists when we have accepted your purchase order or payment against that quotation. Where anything on this site and a written quotation disagree, the quotation is the one that counts.
We may change catalogue prices, specifications and availability at any time without notice. Prices published here are reviewed periodically and the review date is printed beside them.
Accuracy
We take care to keep this site accurate, but we do not warrant that it is free of error or that every figure is current at the moment you read it. Specimens are natural material and vary; sizes are bands rather than guarantees; and a species that was in stock this morning may not be this afternoon.
What you may do with this site
Read it, print it, and circulate it inside your institution for the purpose of specifying and approving an order. That is what it is for, and the price page in particular is built to print.
You may not scrape it, republish it as your own, use it to build a competing catalogue, or present its content as somebody else’s. The text, the drawings and the arrangement of this site are ours.
Intended use of what we sell
Everything in this catalogue is supplied for education and research. Preserved specimens are for dissection and study. Living cultures are non-pathogenic teaching strains and organisms supplied for classroom and laboratory work. Instruments are dissection instruments.
Nothing here is a medical device, a surgical instrument for use on a patient, a diagnostic product, a food, a drug or a veterinary product, and nothing supplied may be used as one. Responsibility for using this material safely and lawfully in your jurisdiction, and for the supervision of students, rests with you.
